According to Nutr Metab Insights (2016), the oil’s composition includes phenolic compounds (plant-based antioxidants), fatty acids, vitamins, tocopherol (a form of vitamin E), linolenic acid (an omega fatty acid), resveratrol, quercetin, procyanidins (flavonoid compounds), carotenoids, and phytosterols.
