By measuring how these liquids behaved at different temperatures ranging from about 50 to 113 degrees Fahrenheit and at varying amounts of panthenol, the researchers could understand how the different ingredients interact with each other at the molecular level. They used specialized techniques to measure how dense the liquids were and how sound traveled through them.

The findings showed that these interactions change significantly based on temperature and how much panthenol is present.
